Every once in a while I like to go back and watch old movies of Taylor. It's almost like going back through old photographs. It never ceases to amaze me how much she's changed. Anyway, this page was created for very selfish reasons. It makes it much easier for me to go back and watch the movies. If anyone else enjoys it, all the better!

A trip from the top to the base of Snowbasin ski resort. Goes past the Olympic downhill starting shacks an down through some steep trees.

"A Very Taylor Christmas"
"A Very Taylor Christmas"
A brief synopsis of Taylor's escapades during Christmas Day 2009 first appeared in the post "Short Attention Span Theater".

"Presents & Patience"
The ordeal of opening a present for a child is something I'm sure many others can relate to. The packaging is so complex often it is a race to free the toy from it's binding before interest in the toy is lost. This movie shows one such endeavor and first appeared in the post "Short Attention Span Theater" and it was actually the origin for the posts title.-------------------------------------------------------------------------
"Holiday Lights 2009"
Twas the night before Christmas, when all through the house
Not a creature was stirring, well… maybe a mouse.
The family was out, seeing the lights.
We strolled along the lake, taking in all the sights.
The weather was warm as a gentle breeze blew.
Mommy wanted it colder… a subject Daddy could argue.
The daughter was mesmerized by the lights and music.
She shared no opinion on the weather being tropic.
Taylor was too busy, exploring her surroundings,
Picking up sticks, touching the lights… and the ducklings.
We lamented the fact, we forgot to bring bread.
I guess holiday thoughts had filled our heads.
After we completed the tour, the lake we had been ‘round.
We found a nice spot and sat on the ground.
Watching the lights dance, listening to one last song.
It was resplendent and festive, enough to last year-long.
Times like these induce thoughts of friends and family,
In hope the season finds them content and healthy.
To one and all, we wish we could be there.
I’m thankful to be able, to make this video to share.
I hope you enjoy it, I know the poem was trite.
To paraphrase Dr. McCoy, “I’m a designer, not a playwright”
I’ll state it one time so my message is clear
“Merry Christmas to all, and to all a good-year!”

"13 Minutes With Taylor"
Compiled from random footage from video taken between blog posts. Perhaps this movie would have been better with some more discriminate editing. There are few sections that I really liked, and a few where it tends to just drag. It appeared in the post "Whatchagot Stew".-------------------------------------------------------------------------
"A Day at Crescent Beach"
A short movie showing Taylor's first trip to the beach. I'm sure days such as this will become more and more frequent as Taylor grows up. I'm already dreading the day that she wants to go by herself. The movie was part of the post "Surfer Girl".

"Taylor Turns One"
Taylor woke from her nap to find her world completely transformed. There were decorations and people everywhere. Well, may around a dozen people, but she had never seen so many people in our house. You could tell she wasn't quite sure what to make of everything. In situations such as this she get's very quiet and observational. Perhaps she gets that trait from me? There was some short visiting, the ritual passing of the baby, and then the party started.First appeared in the post "Taylor's Big Day".

"Angel"
I liked the song and I had some video taken the day after Taylor's birthday that I wanted to share. The two seemed to work well together. So, well... I put them together. Not sure if I like the ending, but one lives and one learns. The movie was part of the post "Taylor's Big Day".-------------------------------------------------------------------------
"Crossing a Threshold"
This is the first movie I made for the blog. Well, there were a couple of short clips I made of Christmas 2008, but I would hardly call them movies (even the very lose definition I utilize here). I think it's my favorite one. Everything just seemed to come together, perhaps it was because I had no intention of making the movie until after I had shot the video. Anyway, I still strive to make a movie that I enjoy as much as this one. The one thing I dislike is the title. But I guess it's too late to change that.
